The defn is so so. coordinate all resources effectively and efficiently to achieve goals; both your goal and the organization goal.

in reality please remember, all resources means and include the resources which are not ours. for these resources, you must beg borrow but dont steal.

Who are the managers. one who is responsible to ensure job is done through other people. To me, this also a defn for a leader.

Management Function. remember this until you die; plan. lead, organize and control.

Roles of managers. Too many. See the latest text book [Nov 2011], page 5.

Managerial Skills. [1] technical skill [2] interpersonal skill [3] conceptual skill. Normally for the exam question, you are asked to relate with the type of managers [top, middle and first line managers].

if you ask me for type manager, I would say good one, bad one and mediocre one. Betul tak? betuuuulllll.

so....to explain further, 1st level manager should have more of technical skill than other skill, while for top level managers, conceptual skill is important compare to other skills.
