TRAINING

When we say training, many [most] people think of formal training. However, informal training is 'not recognised' by the organization itself.

I like to suggest that HR Dept start to think of formalising this informal training so that employee will start to think of their daily performance.

It is as simple as this. The employee will log in the diary of his/her activities for a week or month. The immediate superior, whether his/her own or where ever department he/she is attached [for a particular project / period] will endorse and write a remark.

This log is then kept in a personnel file in the department and later by the HR Dept.

This suggestion may be applicable to those under observation for promotion.
